FUTURE T Ei-XCE-IERS A skit portraying teachers past and present was presented to Warren stu- dents at an assembly by the Chalk- dusters. Their other projects included decorating bulletin boards and a field trip to Redlands University. Most of the members plan to become teachers and they get an idea of what might be in store for them by listening to speakers already in the profession. Mrs. Louise Griffin sponsored and directed the Junior Schol- arship Society, The goals are to foster high scholarship, to recognize and reward the ef- forts of fine students, and to motivate continued superior academic achievement. Among their actives were a dance, CIF or Bust and a Christmas visit to six multiple sclerosis wards at Rancho Los Amigos.

BIOLOGY CLUB For those students who want extra curricular activities relating to biology, there is a Biology Club. This Qroup took a field trip to the ocean to collect speci- mens tor displays and another in con- junction with the Medical Careers Club To the Medical Center at UCLA. 72 MEDICAL CAREERS Miss Rebecca Satfell and Mrs. John D. Abbey of the County Medical Auxiliary Association sponsor the Medical Careers Club. Their goals are to pro- mote a better understanding in all forms of medical careers. Among the various field trips taken this year by the Medical Careers Club was one to UCLA to tour the Medical Department.
