LAST PUMPKIN FEST? Pumpkin Festival or no Pumpkin Festival—is that really a question? The question has come up for the last two years. Yes, there will be a Fest. WJSHS students had some of their most profitable money making projects over the weekend netting $850 for all organizations combined. Deneen Martin was crowned queen of the 1980 Fest by her predecessor Connie Herbig. Members of Deneen's court were: freshmen Connie Wolber and Lee Anne Determan; sophomores Doreen Toay and Penni Rogers; junior Joanne Davis; and seniors Sue Determan and Lorrie Deutsch. The highlight of the weekend was the annual parade which featured bands from Warren High, Junior High, Le-Win and Blackhawk (South Wayne). Saturday night featured a teen dance by Dreamz at the tent behind the Community House, country music fans listened to Red Henton at the fire house on Sunday night. Mr. Voltz commented, The Pumpkin Festival was outstanding. 26 Pumpkin Festival
