Bev Cox, Deb Fernstaedt, and Deneen Martin went to pom-pon camp at Rockford the past summer. Nine members attended the Badgerette Clinic at Rockford and six went to Cedar Falls in the spring. 18 Office and Elementary Helpers STUDENTS’ WORK IS APPRECIATED Students working as office and elementary helpers were greatly appreciated by teachers and office secretaries. Among other various jobs, they picked up attendance sheets, answered telephones, typed announcements and attendance reports, ran the ditto machine and helped teachers with their students. The student also benefited from this by receiving a partial credit towards graduation. The only requirements of being a helper was a willingness to work during a study hall period.
