FFA GROWING This year's FFA had an increase in membership and were involved in many ac- tivities. The activities included basketball, local and sectional; a leadership workshop at Dakota, district bowling contest plus others. Outside of a donation from Mr. Larry Bowers, this year's FFA had no money-making projects. GETTING IT TOGETHER Getting It Together is the theme of this year's yearbook. The theme was chosen to represent the addition of 7th and 8th graders to the high school. This year, for the first time, yearbooks were distributed in the fall, instead of the spring. The reason was the school year could be put in one book instead of two. In the past, events which occured late in the school year, such as prom and track, had to be left out and added to the following yearbook. The yearbook staff this year was comparatively smaller than last year, but Mrs. Miller commented, “The size of the staff doesn't matter. What matters is how many of the staff are willing to work together to produce a good yearbook. People refer to their high school yearbooks throughout their lives and it's nice to look back into one you can be proud of. 14 Yearbook
