Co-op Promotes Career Planning The Co-op Club, in the second year of existence, is continuing its efforts to promote occupational awareness in our school and provide a forum for the integration of school and community affairs. It also promotes career planning and a business-like attitude among students. It attempts to foster community awareness of youth ability and promote the dignity of work. Officers for this year are Mike Mahoney, President; Lynnsey Bour- quin, Vice President; Martha Mitchell, Secretary; and Tim Krupke, Treasurer. The club is advised by Mr. Brazel- ton. FRONT ROW: P. Vocational Center Adds Child Care The Jo Daviess-Carroll Area Voca- tional Center at Elizabeth, began its second year of operation with forty Warren students attending. Three of these students were in the second block, attending class from ten-thirty to twelve-thirty, with the rest of the third block from one to three o'clock. Child Care was added to the curri- culum this year. This class includes a nursery school held at the center. VICA, Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, was started this year. Warren has two officers in this club. Vicki Stiefel is Secretary and Sharon Reynolds is Treasurer. This club promotes vocational interest in students. One of their many projects was a cake raffle during National Education and VICA Week. 8
