Something New Has Been Added The Liberated Women era has hit Warren High. For the first time, girls have entered athletics in the area of volleyball. Two teams comprising ten on the A team and twelve on the B team competed in seven matches with both teams' records ending in a 4-3 reading. Coaches were Miss Bieser, Miss Henrichs, Miss Anderson, and Miss Klaus. Great Going, girls! 6

Touch Somebody New exam schedules were put into effect to benefit both students and teachers. This was one way Mr. Knautz showed his cooperation and concern for the well-being of Warren High School. Student Council and the School Board together made it possible to once again have open dances which are ben- eficial to the students' recreational needs. Freshmen and sophomores are reaching out to the jun- iors and seniors for guidance. In a sense though, the juniors and seniors are reaching out to the world. In any case, the world must prepare itself for youth-- not just for students of Warren High School, but the youth of the world. Better communication among countries could mean a beginning of understanding and pehraps a hope for world peace.

Pep Club Searches For Warrior Spirit The spirit at Warren High School was not good enough to meet Mr. Neilson's standards when he came here this year, and so he organized a Pep Club. The members were all willing to give time and effort to make their club a success. Students in the club were expected to attend games, cheer, and help organize activities. Pep Club activities in- cluded selling Warrior Buttons and white and orange pom pons. Profits were used to repaint the mats at both ends of the gym. Officers were Ginnie Martin, President; Susan Coad, Vice President; and Jane Vondra, Secretary-Treasurer. A representative was also chosen from each class. Mr. Mike Smith assisted Mr. Neilson in advising the club. The main goal of the club was to promote spirit and enthusiasm, and its members were really on the ball. 7
