To student life of Warren High School, past and pres- ent, Whose traditions and ac- tivities We dedicate this 1948- 1949 edition of THE CURVE W mjffilfff 74 To you, of Warren High School, We present this An-nual. In pre- paring The Curve it was our intention to recreate on its pages all the phases of our school activity during 1948-1949, so that they might. be recalled to your memory in future years. M . '16 S 'a Again, I am happy to have the opportunity to offer this short message for publication in the 1948-1949 Warren School Annual, THE CURVE. Victory comes to us only when we use our ability and willingness to work and serve in our everyday life. The ideal condition is one in which each individual has a feeling of satisfaction, of outward security, and of abiding peace within. Another existing condition which mars our more peaceful lives is that of restlessness, dissatisfaction, suspicion, distrust, strife and confusion. A The future and destiny of our Democracy lies in the hands of our young people. The Atomic bomb in the hands of our enemy is not so dangerous to America's future welfare, as the false ideas and doctiiines that may arise within our own ranks. May we have the strength, wis- dom, and couragetto carry on for the sake of generations to come. Sincerely, F. W.
