INTIQODUCTICDN From all parts of XVarren, roads lead to NVarren G. Harding Senior High School. By these roads students not only enter into the classroom, but also depart for various educational trips. Outside experiences as well as classroom discussions help students to further their knowl- edge of particular subjects. Trips to the art museum, the flower show, an industrial plant or Shakesperian play, make the curriculum more meaningful. Extracurricular activities are as Well known at Harding High as classroom groups. The student body follows the basketball and football squads to out-of-town games to boost the team. The Student Council tours other schools to compare their ways with ours. Representatives from various organizations are selected to represent the entire student body at conferences and workshops. As each year ends, the seniors tread the exit roads to maturity, while their places are taken by sophomores, who are just discovering the roads to high school life. 3

Florida: Land of Sunshine Go South, young man, go South! For the past twenty years, science teachers have sacrificed their spring vacations in order to take groups of boys on extended field trips to Florida. The hoys, most of whom arc students of hotany and loology, are highly interested in nature and its processes. On the way down, and while in Florida, the boys visit historical sites and places of known importance, such as Cypress Gardens, Silver Springs, and lklarineland. When in Florida, the group receive the chance to do things they would not ordinarily get to do in their home state. Some of their activities are: spear fishing, hunting snakes, and collecting speci- mens. The hoys camp out and cook their own meals. In their free time, they are permitted to swim in the ocean or take hikes or sleep. This is an experience that all hoys would enjoy. G. Fritch, Mr. William Novelli, A. Ekas, J. Bailey. J.
