August Class Honest effort brings success, the motto of the August, 1955, graduating class, was well carried out by the sincere efforts of the twenty-one graduating students, two of whom were from Howland. Graduating exercises were held at Turner junior High because of building con- struction being done at Harding. Scott Lehman, president, was aided by Mildred Hackett, secretary, and Gerald Chippas, treasurer, in the leadership of class activities. Miss Ruth LaPolla was the class sponsor.
