Volunteer workers help the office machinery whiz along noisily. Girls answer the telephones, file schedules, alphabetize attendance cards, and check absenteeism. Force a subject for his artistic talent. H. Hovance busily sketches a still-life project. Miss Heltzel says be- ginners are given a survey course in which they receive a taste of all kinds of art. In the crafts class, young artists develop such hobbies as model- ing airplanes and making trays and jewelry. The commercial art class provides the minute menu: they produce posters for numerous school activities.
