Pl-ll-CHEM CLUB The Phi-Chem Club functions as two distinct organizations this year. The Physics division, sponsored by Clayton H. Carleton, is composed of members of the Physics classes who wish to experiment further and to study interesting physical phenom- ena. The Benzene Ring, sponsored by Ivan E. Massar, is open to Chemistry students who maintain a grade of G-plus or better. Activities of the clubs have consisted of demonstrations by members and numerous trips to local industries. Officers of the Physics Club were: President, Harold Green, David Bishop, Vice President, Henry Betz, Richard Howard, Secretary, Rex Coates, Ruth Pfau. Officers of the Benzene group included: President, Herbert Schryver, Nfatthew Palovich, Vice President, Kfiles Baldwin, Robert Bowers, Secretary-Treasurer, lrvin Bland, John Heldack. ZOQLQGY CLUB Within two years the Zoology Club, under the sponsorship of R. NI. Crawford and H. C. Hulme, has gained much fame, due to the frequent Held trips, excursions to points of interest in Pittsburgh, lectures, the annual exhibit, club movies, social affairs, and regular meetings. The Zoolngisf, clever bi-weekly publication, has won many friends for the organization also. This year the Club became a member of the Stu- dent Science Clubs of America. Engineering the club were: President, W. Scott Long, Nfiles Baldwin, Vice President, Robert Tilton, Roberta Kirkpatrick, Secretary, Ruth Hutzley, Jeannette Brown, Treasurer, Nfiles Baldwin, Rita Petit, Corresponding Secretary, Celia Laakso. Supervised by Nlr. Hulme, the following students managed the work of The- Zoologistz Editor, Helen Paully, Bernadine Nforris, Circulation Nlanager, Ruth Hutzley, Artists, W.
