They have succeeded in all fields of education such as Language, Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies. The special education department is head- ed by Mrs. Doris White. We feel that correct English is an essential part of our future plans. The large staff helps the stu- dents make better use of the English lan- guage. The head of this hard working depart- ment is Miss Mabel Benjamin who works along with eleven other members of the de- partment. The goals of this department are to effec- tively increase the reading score levels on the C.T.B.S. test and to establish minimum com- petencies in reading and writing.
