I was fke year in felbgence, agikfly, Warren's delegates to the Purdue Legislative Assem- bly were Lowry Suther- land, senator, and Marcia jaggers, Fred Roesener, Bill Nicewanger and Jerry Fink, representatives. One of Warren's foremost com- petitive programs is Quiz 'Em on the Air. Members of this year's team were Linda Palmer, senior, David Bennie, junior, Margorie House, junior, Larry Rood, senior, Nancy Woodworth, senior, and Alan Murray, senior.

Under the direction of Winfield Reed, chairman, the annual P.T.A. ish fry netted a profit of S637.4l last fall. Of this money, two S100 scholarships were given to seniors and S100 was given to the 1958 graduating class. Michael Crowe, junior and United Nations' representative, received S50 for his trip, and :mother S35 is being used to purchase needed equipment for the summer Teen Canteen. The re- maining money goes to an all-student project. On basis oi test scores, Nancy Woodworth received the Betty Crocker Homemaker Award. Y: Representing Warren Central for the year 1957-S8 at the annual Girls' State Convention at Indiana University were Nancy Woodworth and Cynthia Pierce, seniors. ,Q H, i X 'm to x Learning the fundamentals of good reporting and year- book production was the job of these four senior girls. Repre- sentatives to the Journalism Institute were seniors Nancy Updike, Nancy Reinhardt, Judy Overman and Sandy Mann. Each year Warren sends a number of boys to the annual assembly of Hoosier Boys' State at Indiana University. Last year's representatives were Alan Murray, John Herkless, Jerry Fink, Fred Roesener and Gary Ruble.
