KliIil IiR To say he was entirely devoted to his duties as a teacher is to overlook his love for his family. To laud his capable and untiring efforts as a pro' fessional is to underestimate his outside interests and pursuits. To credit him with almost 25 years of teaching at W'arren is to exclude the thousands of evening and weekend hours he gave without com- plaint. XVhether it was an all-school musical, a game, or .1 P.T.A, meeting, Mr Keever could always be relied upon for special lighting, sound equipment, or elec- trical repairs. Through his pioneering, the audio- visual aids program grew to tremendous proportions in its value as an educational device XY'ithout his assistance in photography, Warreri's publications would have suffered immeasurably We shall miss him. h of a chance - 1dn't stand UWC Lady Goclxva wou hows in this daY and ape-ani PHY? Familiar to all is the expression Ask Mrs, Rodden. She'll know. And MRS. MYRTLE M. RODDEN, vice-principal and dean of girls. usually does know the answer to problems or where it may be found. Keeping attendance office routine as well as cafe- teria operations running smoothly are tremendous tasks, which she has performed well. One of the high honors Mrs. Rodden has accom- plished is that of being state president of Delta Kappa Gamma, honorary organization for women teachers, for the past two years. She is also civic and public relations chairman for the Marion County Classroom Teachers Association, This year Mrs. Rodden fulfilled one of her fondest hopes. She was asked to collaborate with Dr. Clif- ford Froelich, University of California, in the revi- sion of his college text, Guidance Services in Small- er Schoolsf' For years Mrs. Rodden has headed Warren's guidance program. Recently there was published in the I7ZdizZ7ZL1 Gzzidmzce Bzfllelin an ar- ticle written by her about the schools guidance. -kg ,,.--. 29 ,Q -53. R T. Hatcher R. Faulkner B. H. Hurt I I W Gr? aa. . Runyan ln a hard-fought season with only four victories chalked up, the Warriors found solace in drubbing Howe for the first time in their baseball rivalry. The entire squad worked hard with the sophomores dem- onstrating terrific talent. Ronnie Mitchell pitched the bulk of the Howe game, while h'e and two other sophomores, Ronnie Faulkner and Bill Darosett, belted in three of the four home- runs of the season. The other homer was collected by Harry Hurt at a strategic point with Broad Ripple, driving in four runs. But the Rockets were too powerful. H. Hill A. Sanders XS f . Q - - I B. Hartman Ronnie Hartman proved to be a fine regular pitcher and Larry Minnich catcher until a head injury during the county tourney prevented Minnich from finishing the season. Terry Hatcher was elected captain while Alan Sanders was named most valuable player for the Kiwanis Award. 128 D. Runyan In a hard-fought season with only four victories chalked up, the Warriors found solace in drubbing Howe for the first time in their baseball rivalry. H. Hill A. Sanders X5 ' 1 J B.
