Mr Fred Rodebeck, dean of boys and vice- principal, is a graduate of Central Normal Col- - lege He received his B.S. degree from Purdue ig,-tp University and has also attended Indiana and it Butler Universities In past years he has been a I I I I participant in guidance conferences and work- shops at both Purdue and Butler. Through his work as dean of boys he often serves as a liaison officer between the school and the home. Administration In the past year Mrs. Rodden received the highest pro- fessional honor obtainable in the field of guidance when she was given professional membership in the National Voca- tional Guidance Association, Inc. Membership in this organ- ization recognizes her achievement as well as experience and training in the field ofvocational and general educational guidance. She was one of the few who received the certifi- cate of professional membership from the National organiza- tion of the Vocational Guidance Association, Inc. Mrs. Myrtle M. Rodden, dean of irls and vice-principal, earned her B. A. degree at Indiana itate Teachers College and her M. A. at Indiana University. She furthered her educa- tion by doing graduate work at Purdue University, Butler University and Columbia University. Idle moments are as rare in summer as in winter for Mrs. Rodden. For the past six summers she has taught in guid- ance conferences at Butler and has also assisted with and taught in many other guidance conferences and workshops. In the past she has served as President of the Indiana Deans Association and is now a member of the Executive Board of that organization. She is now serving on the Board of Directors of the Central Branch of the National Vocational Guidance Association of which she is a member. For the past two years she has served as President of the Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, the highest national honorary professional organization. Long active in civic affairs, Mrs. Rodden is a member of the Indianapolis Business and Professional Club and has served as chairman of several committees. In the last club year she served as chairman of the Program Co-ordination Committee. For the past five years she has been a member of the Y.W.C.A.
