F HY 'WN' V .A.' f AY. - A this rating were qualifications of the teaching staff, organization and supervision, length of the school term, the scheme of promotion and graduation requirements, records and reports kept by the school, equipment such as library and laboratory facilities, program and studms offered and the buildings and grounds. Many of the social events that started way back in Warren's baby days have now become tra- dition. Among these are the annual Mother's Tea, Father and Son Banquet, Athletic Banquet, Spring and Fall Concerts, and Choral Festivals, and the Christmas and Spring Dances. Organizations have grown as rapidly as the school itself. The two outstanding ones are the Warrenette and Hi-Y Clubs. These two organiza- tions take a leading part in the social activ- ities throughout the year. The Sunshine Club, for the Freshman girls, is also an active organ- ization. The athletic department has brought honor to Warren's halls on many occasions, and Warren is noted for clean playing and good sportsmanship. The music department never fails to bring home its share of awards in the annual contests, both vocal and instrumental. Now in this year of 1948 as we look back over the years and realize what this great institu- tion of learning has accomplished, we sincerely hope that it will continue its indispensable job of educating tomorrow's generation. For an edu- cated country is a free country, and only in a free land can the Wwarrensn of the world flour- ish, and the people of the world become better because of them. -4- pqf, 1 f . - J.-., ff? - V .
