WARRENETTES Officers: Virginia Bourne, Devonna M. Riser, Bet ty Bridgins, Lillian Bodensick Margaret Young, Gertrude Hurt. The Warrenette Club, sponsored by Mrs. Myrtle Rodden, was founded in 1926, with Florence Chal- lis being elected itsfirst president. The club is com- posed of girls of sophomore, junior, and senior classes. Present officers of the Warrenettes are: Betty Bridgins, president; Virginia Bourne, vice pres.; Margaret Young, secretary-treasurer; Devona Mae Riser, chaplain; and Gertrude Hurt, and Lillian Bodensick, sergeants at arms. The purpose of the club is three fold: to assist in providing opportunity for personal development of the members; to serve the school and comm- unity; and to improve the individual in general education, religious education, and social educat- ion. Among the many social activities sponsored by the Warrenette Club this year were the Student Mixer, Annual Alumni Home Coming Dance, Spring’Dance, and the Mother’s Valentine Tea.

On Wall: Earl Applegate, Bill Sharp, Ormand Patterson and A1 Minger. The Warren Central Hi-Y Club is affiliated with I the Y.M.C.A. The membership is composed of j eleventh and twelfth grade boys. The purpose of the organization is to create, maintain and extend throughout the school and community high stand- ards of Christian character. Past presidents of the organization are: Alden Shields, James Shields, Elbert Amos, and Frank Eberhardt. Present of- ficers of the clnb are: Harold Toombs, president; Jack Heskett, vice-president; Glen Pickeral, rec- ording secretary; Gene Kirkpatrick, treasurer; Jas Poole, sergeant at arms; Chester Cannady, cor- responding secretary. ,| Mr. Douglas Brown has been sponsor of the club since it was reorganized several years ago. ! The Warren Central Hi-Y Club has a member- ship of 32 boys. The club sponsors annually a father-son banquet for all fathers and sons of the community. This year the banquet was held April 18. f
