While in school, they have various academic prob- lems that require the advice of an experienced counselor. A valuable part of our school, the Guidance Office, serves students by assisting them with their academic needs of the present and dis- cussing with them their plans for the future. Utilizing the student's abilities and interests, the counselors advise students in the selection of colleges, careers, technical schools, and other appropriate fields. This year Mr. Ronald Isackson has served the Senior class, Miss Jean Steele, the Junior class, and Mr. Warren Carr, the Sophomore class. In addition to its personal counselling, the Guidance Office has provided many booklets concerning vocations and schools of higher education and has planned both a career discussion program and visits from college representatives. The many services of the Guidance Office have enabled students to make wise decisions which will contribute to their future success.
