ROBERT LUNDBERG The Warren County School Board is responsible for the passage of all legislation relating to the school district. Composed of nine men from all parts of the county, the members are elected by the people of Warren County. At its monthly meetings the School Board discusses the reports of the various committees which deal with speci- hc problems. Headed by Mr, Melvin Keller, president, and Dr. Thomas Barratt, executive officer, the Board has ap- proved legislation necessary for the advancement of the school district. Dealing With such areas as playgrounds, Eight Secretary Treasurer Asst. Secretary-Treasurer athletics, buildings and grounds, transportation, text books, finance, and teachers, the committees of each area convene between the monthly meetings for a more thor- ough evaluation and study of these problems. They then present their discoveries and suggestions to the Board at the monthly meeting. The members of the Board have discussed and studied the needs of the school system and have to the best of their ability adopted means of solving them. Their legis- lation has provided the means for the improvement and progression of the Warren County School District.
