School sports found determined cheering sections rooting for the team. Always ready with a yell, the cheerleaders made things look brighter when the odds were the heaviest. Our cheerleaders planned and directed the snake dance, which was held the night before the lVarren-Jamestown game. An enthusiastic group turned out, and the town echoed with their cheers. Chosen upon a competitive-elective basis, the cheerleaders were trained by, the squad of y-P3 and '44. They served under the direction of llr. Leidig and the Athletic Association.
