Administration Building - The Administration Building, Which is the em- bodiment of progress, stands at the entrance to the New York World's Fair and is the center of the ex- position activities. The central figure of the sculp- ture adorning the building facade rises above the towers of lllanhattan, and with a gesture of welcome lifts with her the veil that has obscured the World of Tomorrow. In this structure are contained the lux- urious oHices of the executive staff of the Fair Foremost in the activities of Warren High School are the members of the administrative force, who guide our destinies to newer, higher, and better things. The services which the capable instructors and ofiicials render are invaluable. ' '

H Board of Directors i HE Board of School Directors in the School District of Warren Borough is the governing body of our local schools. lt represents the state in educational matters and is governed by state law and rules set up by the State Department of Public Instruction. lt also represents the citizens of this community. Every two years, by popular vote, two or three citizens are chosen for membership on this board and serve for a period of six years. The duties of this board are manifold. lt determines the annual budgetg fixes tax ratesg causes buildings to be builtg has charge of their operation and repair, selects teachers, the superintendent and other employees, carries out the curriculum set up by the state, and establishes and enforces local rules and regulations. Warren, indeed, is fortunate in having seven of its foremost citizens serve without pay in this responsible position. With outstanding credit, both to themselves and the community, they have established and are maintaining an effective school program for the young people of Warren.
