F..- ,,., 'Agxnu wsna A, 3 I I S r 525.316, X .. 1 xt 2 I 5 4 ALUMNI ASSCDCIATION YY ACH succeeding group of officers of the Alumni Association l realizes more and more that this Association should mean and must mean more to its ever growing group of members. A few years ago the Alumni Association was, seemingly, a name given to those students who had devoted a certain amount of time and study to this or that course. Now we realize that the Alumni Association is made up of graduates who have acquired a spirit, a certain something, that comes not through study alone but rather through contacts with classmate and teachers. s ls it not this spirit that the graduating student wishes to re- tain? ls it not this same spirit that he wants to see the new stu- dents acquire? Is it not this spirit that the Alumni Association should help and must help preserve? For a number of years the Association held a banquet and dance in honor of the graduating class. This get-together meeting alone justified an Association, nevertheless the oiiicers, a few years ago, desired to set up an additional worthwhile aim. They started a student fund for the purpose of aiding deserving graduates in continuing their education. Although the fund has already reached a gratifying amount, it is not yet sufficient to put the Alumni plans in working order. Is not this student fund activity a reflection of the real Warren High spirit? The Alumni body is glad to welcome another group of gradu- ates into its midst, and to know that this class will be an inspiration to the older members of the Association as well as to the students left behind. -ALUMNI PRESIDENT. --.gf 10 iga..-
