Judy Elder and Stacy Haugabrook teach WRHS students a new cheer Who was that masked man? Demon Fever strikes Brett Lowe, and he is dressed accordingly Mrs. Way, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Ringler watch the action at a pep rally Take a Closer Look ... S 7 pirit “Who are the Demons?” ““WE ARE THE DEMONS!” and proud of it, too! WRHS abounds with enthusiasm over its many achievements. We scream our lungs out at pep rallies, wear as much red as we can, and do anything else necessary to show that we are proud of our school. Every club in which we are involved and every activity in which we participate is a conscientious effort on our part to get involved and show our school spirit. It is sometimes difficult to be spirited when we are fairly confident that our team will stomp on its opponent every week. But we are always proud to be part of the “Big Red Demon Machine” and the “Dixie Express,’ and it feels good to be able to say, “I go to Warner Robins High.” And no matter which way the game may turn out, we'll always feel a great sensation when we hear the announcement that “Ladies and Gentlemen, you are now in Demon Country!” Getting involved can sometimes mean hard work! After school one day in the fall, band members practice their halftime show Go Hawaiian! Mrs. Hammond and her students are dressed for the occasion on “‘Hawaiian Day.” INTRODUCTION 13

nother shou Take a Closer Look... Goals During our years at WRHS each of us will set and strive to attain some type of goal. Some of us will reach our goals; many others will fall short, yet perhaps gain more through the struggle. Many will run for office; others will do what is necessary to meet a certain club’s acceptance requir- ements. Still others will give their best effort to a particular athletic or artistic field Whatever the task, it will not be an easy one. Some will be recognized for their achievements, while many others will only be rewarded with personal satisfaction. But it is important to remember that it is through our attempts to succeed that we grow. And finally, growing is a common goal for all of us, for only as we grow can we clearly observe what is happening and actually TAKE A CLOSER LOOK at ourselves. Mike Harrell, Sherry Denny, and Tim Sharpe are caught by the camera while standing in the lobby at break Seniors Jimmy Grant and Robert Wise, along with Alumni Barry Johns, Kathy Gentry, Vicki Chesser, and Charlie Cherry reunite in the gym at the Homecoming pep rally Winning float competition was a goal that the Class of ‘82 never managed to reach. But the class members had a great time trying as Jackie Phillips, Kim Payne, Toni Loudin, and Donna Hunter show us while they ride behind the float in this year’s parade Staring intently at the band, Drum Majorette Becky Barnes conducts one of the group’s songs 14 INTRODUCTION
