Seniors assume the role of the “tired, old’’ veteran They are usually authoritative, well-informed, and proud ... of themselves, their class, and their school. Seniors have the distinct benefits of going to pep rallies ahead of the other classes, nominating the Homecoming Court, voting for Outstanding Seniors, exempting finals, relaxing on the Senior Bench, receiving their yearbooks before anyone else in the school, enjoying a “Senior Day,”’ and going on the Senior Trip Juniors order their class rings, sell magazines, and plan the Junior-Senior Prom. And for the sophomores, finally getting the chance to attend “the big school”’ is a privilege in itself.
