These buildings, together with the originally purchased property pro- vided for the needs of the school for a number of years. As expansions were made in property holdings, the faculty of the school was also enlarged.

View Sanitarium, situated at the top of 68th Avenue, just off Division St. in Portland, Oregon, was purchased for the new home of Pacific Bible College. The building provided for the offices, classrooms, and living quarters. Its surrounding property was cleared and put to good use. During the war years, students planted Victory gardens.
