9' hu? .0 .M AKES FCRM . . . Activities on campus were conducted in a very informal way. One of the high- lights of the days' activities was the meals that were served in family style. Two stu- dents graduated in the first graduating class in 1939. A male quartet was or- ganized in the same year. Members of the student body gathered in the library for study. In 1940 it was voted to move the school to Portland, Oregon. Dr. Gray and the student body gathered for this last picture before the move was made.

Gray was I elected president in 1920. After two years of operation the school closed. In I 1937 the school reopened in Spokane, Washington under the name Pacific Bible College. View Sanitarium, situated at the top of 68th Avenue, just off Division St. in Portland, Oregon, was purchased for the new home of Pacific Bible College. The building provided for the offices, classrooms, and living quarters. Its surrounding property was cleared and put to good use. During the war years, students planted Victory gardens.
