'4 Dr. Linn: The radiance of your Godly example has shown through the years as a beacon. Many men today walk in the light as a result of your devoted consecration to Pacific Bible College. It is impossible to walk across our campus, sit in our classrooms, or enter our library without being conscious of the tremendous contribution that you have made to our school. Georgia Harkness must certainly have had a man like you in mind when she penned these words, to give of self and not to count the cost, to learn, to teach, to labor and to pray, to serve like Christ, the least, the last, the lost. In deep gratitude, we humbly dedicate this Beacon to you. 1 i 5wi,gzefft it i- M V W m l ,I WH. 7l47Ue? cz In this school where learning and achievement come through many varied experiences, we are aware of values in group process. The Koinonia Parthenon, by interpreta- tion, the fellowship of girls, has estab- lished as its purpose the creation and development of the highest ideals through a Christlike life. The girls seek to be refined, to cultivate their thoughts and language, to develop purity of taste in their minds, morals, and styles, and to radiate joy and friendliness. The many special events during the year are designed to achieve the aims of the above stated purpose, to enrich the fellowship among the girls, and to strengthen the relationship between the girls and their administrative leaders. Grandma Glenadeen tells, Why the Chimes Rang. The latest creations in hats and accessories were modeled at our November meeting. Three of the girls are engaged in making boutonnieres and corsages for the Kare Kor- nival, Janice Underwood, Ernie Staley, Clarice Price, and Betty Coffin. The Spanish Club, which is open to any student who indicates an interest in its affairs, seeks to engender among its mem- bers a heightened interest in the language and customs of the Latin-American world.
