“CLASS PROPHECY The other night I was idly listening to the radio, when sud- denly a terrible roar burst forth, and the announcer informed me that we In my imagination I came to the side of a huge mountain. A door in the mountain opened up, and soon I found myself in what seemed to be an underground valley. In the center was an immense building, and weird-looking airplanes buzzed through the air. From this building emerged a middle-aged man who extended his hand and welcomed me to Sumac Run. After thanking him, I discovered it was Jerry Rinaldi. He informed me he was vice- president and that I would see other old friends inside. Indi- cating the building, he pointed out that it was formerly Camo- och's Pretzel Factory, owned by the one and only Jack Commane, who had recently converted lt into a rocket ship factory. Along came Jim McKa1g who, I was told, was chief test pilot. Jim invited me to tour the place, so Jerry led us to the main office. I saw by the lettering on the door that Donald Weis- brod was, as usual, president. We entered and found Herb and his capable assistant, Ruth Smith, going over some plans with Jack for enlarging the plant. I asked them how they could man- age such a business without going bankrupt. Herb pushed a but- ton on his desk and a familiar-looking man came in. It was Bob Montmoran, who, Herb explained, as the company's treasurer, had kept them from any unwise spending. ..,.. ,..,.,.... ,., 4. . ,......-,..--f-.-... N.,-.
