IGHT OF CELEBRATIO The annual Miss Ernest Ward High School pageant was held on March 14, 1987. The contestants were judged in the areas of poise, appearance, personal interview, talent, and physical fitness. The results were exciting as Deana Tyson was crowned Miss E.W.H.S. of 1987. Deana performed a humor- ous monologue entitled First Date . Tammy Amerson was selected first runner-up. Tammy twirled to Footloose . Lau- ra Morris was chosen second runner-up. Laura sang Mama He's Crazy. Dana Powell, was elected Miss Congeniality by the contestants. The Mr. EWHS contestants were elected by the students in grades 9-12. Rusty Pennington was elected Mr. EWHS with Chris Singleton as first runner-up, and David jordan as secs ond runner-up. I Can't believe it!!
