COACH SAMMY DAY lqffketl K-5 X x re 1- Baseball coach Sammy Day has been at E.W. 10 years. In those 10 years, he has never had a losing season. Under his direction the Eagles won or tied for the Escambia River Conference title seven times. He led the team to district and regional titles in '80 and '81. Coach Day also reached the ultimate coach's goal-the State Championship in 1982. Cul- minating the 1985 season, Coach Day was voted 1-A Coach of the Year. r X-I -f.'w,...-if f.
