Mr. Russ A. Cobb, Mr. joseph E. Ludewig, Pres, Roy C. Ketcham, Mr. james S. Evans, Dr. Harold H. Reilly, Mr. Malcolm I-1. Hunter. The handy that govern our .fcbolartic world: The Board of Education Pictured on this page are five men who may be unfamiliar to some of our student body but who are most familiar with the problems of our school system. If one were to count the many hours of unselfish attendance at Board meetings, to say nothing of countless other duties ac- companying their position in our community, he would be amazed at the total. This group of public-spirited men has several thought- provoking problems facing it at the present time. As usual, they are concerned with maintaining our present high standards, both in equipment and in personnel. Their inter- est in the student body was manifested this year when the television appeared in the senior social studies classroomg their interest in our future is shown in their study of our urgent need for more space. We here at Wappingers Central School feel that we are fortunate in our Board of Education.

Mt. Ben F. Ingraham, Mr. E. joseph Kegan, Miss Georgianna Gurney. Administration By the time any senior is ready to leave Wappingers, he finds it a hard task to put into words how much, in countless ways, the school personnel has meant to him. How- ever, we wish especially to pay public tribute to the three sets of guiding hands in our scholastic world: to Miss Gurney, for her constant interest in both our present and our future welfareg to Mr. Ingraham, for his readiness to listen to our numerous requests and to grant them whenever possible, to Mr. Kegan, for his accessibility and for never being too busy to let us consult with him. May we of the Class of 1951 always live up to the goals and ideals set for us by these three.
