C. S. for the first time in a great number of years. The team, very green and inexperienced, competed in five track meets and won one. An easy time was had dropping Haldane two times in succession by scores of 27-12 and. 26-18. Beacon beat them 15-14 in a game that was shorten ed to six-minute quarters. In this game, the Beacon team was handed a gift of two points by one of our players who got confused and dropped a basket in the wrong goal. St. Patrick's was defeated 36-30 and then Roosevelt was handed a loss by the jayvee's 36-52 score. Arlington was pasted with a 52 19 shellacking. The next game with Beacon was played in regulation time and the team showed its superiority by winning, 35-21. The team lost its second game to St. Marys of Hudson in an overtime period by two points. At the finish of this hectic game the scoreboard read 42-40 with Hudson on top The return match with St. Mary's found Wappingers the victor, 26-24.
