All types of military air- craft, of both allied and axis nations, were made. However, in this aviation age that did not furnish enough activity to sat- isfy the interest and ability of the club members, some of them constructed flying models at home. Douglas Marshall, Vincent D'Ambrosio, and Barry Pratten made exceptionally fine models and with these the members learned many of the principles of flight. Later in the year they assisted in making an Aviation Gene ter in room 150, so that people could study the pictures, charts, identifica- tion models, books, magazines, and pam- phlets displayed there. l G girls Ln last yeur' Home lco no 1C Cluo made uw one of the most act llc OTb8H1ZBtlOU3 ln the school T11 caz t'e, rco ani d wlth everal now L to 2 lst Row M Warcantonio, Owen J meqbgp ang took up study and worl of man prases o the Red Cross V D1 Sant1s, R Bradley, E Camencs C Lee Stafldln? -T Fauldsf W K9tCham lhe offlcers are as follovs Pro Ldcnt Jlnetta hetcnam Vlce presldent Fthel Owen secretary Iarj D1 D i 'lln---- - t PlAY CCI 'l l'K to R E Paymond D Brsagna, N Gregory, J Syr e t, L klller, R Laurer, L Cornell, E Burns It is the duty of the Jlsplay com mittee to acquire and arra ge suitable material for the show cases in the halls This material should be both in teresting and instructive to the student body, and should be arranged so that the pupils will notice it and welt to see more.
