Vwgfmgfaaofz... . We? ' We the yearbook staff of 1966 proudly dedicate the 1965-66 Warebiafz to Miss Les- sie Rasco. Her outstanding service as girls counselor and head of the Future Teachers Organization has distinguished her through her years. Born in Alabama, Miss Rasco moved to the Yakima Valley in her high school years and proudly calls the Valley her home. A graduate of Whitworth College, Miss Rasco came to Wapato twenty-three years ago. During her stay she has taught all levels of English and a year of U. S. History. After several years here Miss Rasco organized the Future Teachers Club and this organiza- tion is still growing. Besides being an asset to the Faculty, Miss Rasco is active in the Wapato Community Presbyterian Church and the Business and Professional Women's Club in Yakima. She has traveled in Europe, Can- ada, Hawaii, Mexico and far up into Alaska. Through her church work and Mother's Reception in the spring, Miss Fasco feels she knows the community well. She said, Wapato and the Wapato Schools have been a vital part of my life for many years. I shall always remember and prize my many friends in Wapato. A The students and community will long remember Miss Rasco and her valuable contribution to the Wapato Schools. I I I Miss Lessie Rasco
