Composed of sixty-eight voir-es. the choir. under the very capable direction of Mr. George loc, was enjoyed hy all who heard them. and as a result, this musical group enjoyed a most successful year. As well as entertaining for the annual Open House, Christmas Vespers, and Spring Choral Con- cert, the Choir and its various small groups per- formed at the annual interscholastic competition programs at Moses Lake and Ellensburg. The choir contest at Moses Lake. in April, was the main objective of the group, and the results were very satisfactory. The small group concert found the Madrigal again competing for honors with their rival, Yakima. Accompanying the Madrigal were three - other very fine groups-the Boys, Quartet. Officers were elected, and through these people, the Choir was represented very well throughout the school. A new attraction adopted this year hy the choir, was a student director, in the person of Primo Valenzuela. Linder the tutorship of Mr. Ice, Primo directed the choir at their Spring Choral Concert. . We can look to our Choir proudly for its con- tribution to the school's music program for its tireless endeavor in working toward their goals.
