The annual Christmas Vespers was held Sunday, December 19. by members of the Choir. Orchestra. and Dramatics Class. The Orchestra, under the direction of Oland K. XY'arcup. opened the program. The Choir. singing O Come All Ye Faithful. then marched into the gym with lighted candles and took their places on the risers. The outstanding attraction of the program was the tableau presented by the Dramatics Class and ac- The Choir was under Eichenberger. ff Bob Mitchell. and Lyle Maller. companied by the Choir with various and appropri- ate carols. The tableau. narrated by Paul Olsen, told of the nativity of Christ, XVith the final number of the Choir. Silent Night, the curtain closed on the last tableau scene gthe Shepherds. XVise Men and Angels kneeling before the Christ Child. Mr. Schilperoort directed the tableau with settings furnished and arranged by Mr. Ketelle and the art class. the direction of Mr. Rod -23 -
