One of the most worth-while organizations of Blume High is the Girl Reserves. Their purpose is to face life squarely and to find and give the best. Since this is a junior branch of the Young Women's Christian Association, high morals and religion are given emphasis. During the year interesting speakers, both students and outsiders, made the programs very educational as well as entertaining. Valentine, swimming, and skating parties were enjoyed throughout the year. The officers of this organization are Ellen Lindsey, president; Mary Speidel, vice-president; Elsie Brautigam, secretary; Betty Glee Schnell, treasurer; Jane Shaw, song leader; Imo-gene Smith, devotional leader.
