Chem- istry, and Physicsg at Wapahani there is a science course for every- one. Freshmen experience the lively aspects of Biology, whereas up- perclassmen have the privilege of tackling the more advanced studies. The Science Department, headed by Mr. Murray McDavitt, Mrs. Donna Rees, and Mrs. Ann Beuoy, strive to inject an interest into stu- dents so they can discover for them- selves the wonder and the awe of the world we live in. Learning to operate a microscope correctly, studying the classification system, making insect and flower collections, and learning chemical names, are just a few of the re- quired, and many times difficult studies the pupils encounter in their science curriculum.
