Students Find ath is More Than 2 + 2 Ask the average student what he feels about Mathematics. and about 90 per cent ofthe time you will get the same answer: lt's a Pain! Because ofthis feeling. Wapahani has a Math class for each type of student. For incoming freshmen. a math is required. so depending on the stu- dent. he can take Practical Math. Introductory Algebra I. or Algebra I. After receiving their 2 credits. Sophomores can take Introductory Algebra Il, or Geometry. Qfor the academically mindedb, and then on to Algebra II and Advanced Math in the following years. The Math Department is headed by Mr. Murray McDavitt, Mrs. Donna Rees. and Mr. Kenneth Brown. Upper right: Students use their study time wisely. and cut down on homework.
