Fun with English Phase elective English classes pro- vides a different way oflearning. A little bit of grammar. spelling and punctuation mixed with the experi- ence of writing essays. stories. and poems of their own choice. made English more enjoyable. Even students who did not like to read had a class geared just for them. 'gl Hate to Read . helping them get over their hatred of reading. Students going to college took ac- ademic classes to aid in furthering their education. ' fr, l V: ,I A. This year Wapahani added an- other curriculum to the student se- lection in foreign language classes. Along with Spanish we now have French. Both the Spanish and French classes teamed together and went to La Tour restaurant in Indianapolis for an unforgettable meal. The French class has had a lot of fun along with the required work that it takes to learn a foreign language. Games that taught the names of clothing, French songs, and a crepe party were some ofthe fun projects. The Spanish Classes had two na- tive speakers visit them.
