Freshmen work for wins The Freshmen basketball teams suffered a discouraging season this year under first year coach Bob Craig. The two squads. 'A' team and 'B' team. only won 6 games between them while 12 games were lost total. Top scorers and rebounders for the club included: Scott Landis. Keith Davis. and Rick Slaven. The team lacked consistency and therefore had to settle for a record which wasn't perfect but the future is ahead. Far right: Keith Davis drives around his Winchester opponent. Coach Schuerman. 68 The Junior Varsity basketball team, worked hard. kept up their mental spirits, listened to coach Schuerman, and ended the season with a very respectable record of 12 wins against only 4 losses. Three of the four games lost were close and could have easily gone the other route. In the scoring department. the team was headed by Sophomores John Parks and Eric Glaze. In re- bounding Junior Matt Fisher and Sophomore Neil Bousman did their share. Some of the young men got a chance to play Varsity ball, and managed quite well. Sam Heherwe provided plenty of spark many times. Coaches Schuerman and Craig were quite pleased with the boys performance and look towards next year.
