The 2 wins and 14 losses were dis- couraging for the girls and for first year Coach Jane Lambert. The spikers worked well together but just couldn,t seem to come out on the winning end as much as they would have liked. The Junior Varsity team also suf- fered a losing season with a 4 and 14 record. Experience will be the key for next year, as no girls will be lost. Girl Cagers look to the future. The girls basketball team was in a rebuilding season. Coach Jane Lam- bert had no seniors and only three juniors yet they struggled to end the season with a 4-ll record for the varsity and a 1-7 record for the J.V. cagers. There were several bright points in the year though, asjunior Pam Buchanan, with a 15.5 scoring clip, made the all county team and honorable mention was received by Kerry Conwell. Joyce Toole, a fresh- man, was leading free throw shooter. The experience gained this year, should help make the girls basket- ball team one ofthe toughest in the county next year.
