Club, consisting of approximately twenty members met after school on Mondays throughout the year. During meetings they discussed the Bible and religious themes: shared their favorite verses: ex- changed views on books ofthe Bible and occasionally sang. After a demonstration with pho- tography. the Art Club decided to add photography to their list of projects. Mrs. Spurgeon helped the members work on projects in groups and individually. They also spent time watching demonstrations. Right: David Lee searches for copy material. 52 The new members ofthe year- book staff found out that getting the yearbook out in time was not as easy as it seemed. They were put to work and caught on to the proper procedures as quickly as possible. Both new and old members worked under unusual conditions. Since school was out for three weeks it was difficult for staff members to get all ofthe work done in order to meet deadlines. Lon hours were required from all oftge members.
