Wapahani chosen for Speech Sectional -uv A! .. 'in it ll! i. .5 wt -if This was the first year for a Wapahani debate team. The team did an outstanding job under their sponsor. Ms. Williams. They won several first place awards finishing their season with a great first year 10-2 record. The National Forensic League has increased in number and has four members with a Degree of Distinction. This is the first time a school as small as Wapahani has been chosen as a sectional site. I6 teams will par- ticipate in the sectional. Actors appear to have a successful act gamma. c.. Drama club was involved in many activities which included a fall and spring play ofa children's musical based on some of Aesop's more famous fables. Some ofthe members contributed their time working at Muncie Civic Theater as ushers and lighting personnel. The fall play Androcles and the Lionl' consisted ofa cast of30 actors and actresses.
