The purpose ofthe organization is to aid the growth of each ofthese vital areas in order to develope a more mature being. The basic knowledge learned in 4-H prepares teenagers for the world ahead. Wapahani chosen for Speech Sectional -uv A! .. 'in it ll! i. .5 wt -if This was the first year for a Wapahani debate team. The team did an outstanding job under their sponsor. Ms. Williams. They won several first place awards finishing their season with a great first year 10-2 record. The National Forensic League has increased in number and has four members with a Degree of Distinction. This is the first time a school as small as Wapahani has been chosen as a sectional site. I6 teams will par- ticipate in the sectional.
