aking ready for the future This years leaders for 4-H were Cheryl New for the girls and Chris Youngblood for the guys. The purpose ofthe organization is to aid the growth of each ofthese vital areas in order to develope a more mature being. The basic knowledge learned in 4-H prepares teenagers for the world ahead. Junior Aehievement's purpose is to get young people involved in Business and lndustry Sources. Many peoplejoined J.A. this year and are having lots of fun. Wapahani chosen for Speech Sectional -uv A! .. 'in it ll! i. .5 wt -if This was the first year for a Wapahani debate team. The team did an outstanding job under their sponsor. Ms. Williams. They won several first place awards finishing their season with a great first year 10-2 record. The National Forensic League has increased in number and has four members with a Degree of Distinction. This is the first time a school as small as Wapahani has been chosen as a sectional site. I6 teams will par- ticipate in the sectional.
