 Administration Q: What changes are expected tor the 85- 86 school year? Teachers are expected to do more than ever before in the 1985 86 school year. A time of adjustment will be necessary to help us all cope with less personal resources (teachers) per student, more than ever be- fore. Teacher shortages are a real problem to some of our programs. The Effective Schools Movement requires that we set up a Program of Effective Teaching Training, monitor Teachers' classes more, have more contact with parents, become more involved with School Business partnership, and con- tinue a school improvement program. All of the above are direct results of the Educa- tional Improvement Act. Q. What is the status of our acceditation from the Southern Association? We expect to get an all-clear on October 21, 1985. We will then be presented to the SACS Regional Committee as a candidate for full accreditation and recognition at the SACS Convention in New Orleans in De- cember 1985. — Mr. Scott — Mr. Ouentin L. Moultrie Constituent District 2 Board Of Trustees Wando High School opened in 1973 and has increased in size ever since. The student body is expected to be close to 1600 this year. This is the only high school in District 2 of Charleston County. Mr. William H. Gilden is Area Assistant Supertendent, and Dr. Ronald A. McWhirt is County Superinten- dent.
