Warriors have DEFINITELY got spirit! It is evident everywhere and is a major reason for the success of our athletic teams. We show our spirit in many ways: by yelling our hearts out at pep rallies, taking part in extracurricular activities, and even by buying spirit ribbons. Students can al- ways be found supporting the Warrior teams of football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and wrestling. W ■ ■ ell, Have You Got That Spirit? Students follow that great arrow to get to the Seniors prove it again — the Class of ‘86 is THE pep rally. BEST! WHS- 1 — these cowbells are used to cheer on the team and make noise! 14 OPENING

Warriors Can Be Found Everywhere Although Wando covers all of the relatively small East Cooper area, there are numerous places where Warriors can be found other than the school itself. Many students work after school at familiar places like K-Mart, Wal-Mart, or fast food restaurants. Those who do not work spend their time doing schoolwork or taking part in sports or clubs. Popular spots that Warriors frequent on the weekends in- clude the mall, anywhere downtown, football games, and the beach. Warriors like Julie Todd. David Graham, and DeDe Bishop can always be found at one of the local beaches. fm This aerial view of the Wando campus makes the school seem small, but due to the increase in students, plans are being discussed to add a new pod. You can always count on getting help in the main office, be it from a monitor or a secretary. Although we only have five minutes to change classes. Warriors are never too busy to show school spirit! After a hard morning of classes, many students sometimes stand twenty minutes in line for one of the famous “school lunches.” 16 OPENING
