Our one basic obligation is to serve students by providing educational, career, social and personal counseling. Guidance maintains an extensive collection of occupational in- formation. college catalogues and other reference materials useful in assisting stu- dents with college and career planning. We encourage students to visit our office to talk with a counselor, research colleges or explore careers. ... The Wando High School library opened its doors Aug. 1973 with approximately 15,000 books. Plans and organization of this library were done by Mrs. Cain, now retired, and Mrs. Johnson under the Pnnci- palship of Mr. Bergen and Mr. Gilden. The library has made many changes since it opened in 1973. It has developed into a more warm and inviting atmosphere where students really enjoy the surroundings.
