MOULTRIE CONSTITUENT DISTRICT 2 BOARD OF TRUSTEES Left to right: Mr. Kenneth Writ on. Chairman, Dr. J. Fit harris, Dr. J. Roitrch, Mrs. S. Mellichamp, and Dr. K. Shuler Wando High School opened in 1973 and has increased in size each year. The expected enrollment is 1600 students in grades 9-12 this year. This is the only high school in District 2 of Charleston County. Mr. William H GUden is Area Assistant Superintendent, and Dr. Ronald A. McWhirt is County Superintendent. Mr. Kenneth Wrixon is Chairman of the District 2 School Board. Attendance Mrs Betty Chaconas. Nurse Mrs. Likes, secretary to the Principal's Office manages office files and records, faculty and staff personnel records, payroll and time sheets for faculty and staff, mail distribution, the phones and discipline cor- respondence. Mrs. Misenhelter, Mam Office secretary, controls the academic and personal re- cords of all students, out going correspon- dence, inter office and faculty memos, stu- dent's transcripts, the phones and disci- pline correspondence. Mrs. Simpson, the bookkeeper, handles all of Wando s receipt books, accounts pay- able and receiveable, purchasing of school supplies departmental purchases, and dub financial records. Mrs. Avinger, the guidance secretary, assists the guidance counselors with all student related correspondence, student class schedules, and college transcripts correspondence. The attendance department has the re- sponsibility of keeping attendance, tardies, students leaving school early and return- ing. M Lihenthal We started off the 1982-83 school year with all students being up-to-date with his immunizations except about 30 students.
