The senior year at Wando was the hard- est emotionally. At every cross road one would think, Wow, this is my last football game, basketball game, or Home- coming. Everything seemed sad in retro- spect. The only way to keep those memories were with souvenirs of the school events such as spirit ribbons, game tickets, and newspaper articles. The Junior-Senior was just as good as ever, but a little sadder. Then, the year came closer to an end when we received caps and gowns. The saddest day of our high-school career, graduation day, was then at hand. After all, we were no longer Wando Warriors. SENIORS 1. the senior lunch table. 2. WANDO’S 12 Student Lite A ne s sophomore year at Wando is quite 1:1 relaxing. Already one has exper- tenced Wando's fastpaced life. The sophomore year was a little more special than the freshman year because one had a greater affinity toward the school — the football games seemed better, and the soph- omore class showed much improvement at pep rallies. This is the year, however, that the curriculum got harder, and for the first time in some of our lives, we studied!!!! 1. Catherine Sluhr asks the office for info. 2 Chuckie Realm and Billy SwaRs show their spirit with spirit ribbons. 3. Sophomores study for a test. 4. These sophomores horse around tor the camera. 5. Cindy Seymour reflects the way kmch tasted.
